Inside, the Durango X-Treme Comfort footbed with Memory Foam cushions each step while providing supportive underfoot comfort. The removable brush guard kiltie helps protect the lacing area from dirt and debris, and the fiberglass shank adds lightweight stability.

The dual-density EVA midsole combines a firmer shock-absorbing heel with a softer forepart for support, flexibility, and comfort. In addition, the rolled shank area and anti-torsion rigid external shank help improve lateral stability.

Underfoot, the multi-durometer rubber outsole uses high-abrasion outer lugs for impact durability and softer mid lugs for improved flexibility. The outsole also provides increased resistance to slips and oil. A double row sole stitch adds durability, while the 1 1/2-inch rocker heel supports a steady stride.

The steel toe meets the ASTM F2413 Protective Toe classification, and the footwear meets the ASTM F2413 Electrical Hazard standard.
